Stress is normal. We all experience it.. However, unmanaged stress, whether it is caused by positive or negative events and situations, can rob you of your peace of mind and your health. It can show up as physical illness, as chronic aches and pain, and symptoms of mental and emotional difficulties.
In this program you will experience, identify and create new ways for dealing with underlying sources of stress. This program is based on a client-centered approach using simple yoga, introspection and self-reflection, dialogue in a supportive group setting, and assigned home practices. This program is not instructional, nor is it prescriptive. It recognizes that we each have our own unique ways of responding to life events and to stress. There is no one-shoe-fits-all remedy – no one ideal way to be - no right or wrong answer – only what works, what is right, for you.
Life Beyond Stress is a process that invites you to be present fully as you are, without judgment, knowing that the best, and the most effective, resource is not found outside yourself in a prescribed method, but inside YOU and your own inner wisdom. This program offers a way of connecting at a deeper level enabling you to find your own answers. This self-empowerment brings freedom to choose how you will respond to stress and to develop a healthier and more effective way of living. The overall result is powerful - a new and empowered life.
No prior knowledge of yoga or meditation is necessary in order to participate in this program.
